From the Hermes Kelly in black with black hardware which comes in black box and dustbag to the Hermès extra-wide clic "H" enamel bracelet. My heart has literally stopped and my breath has been taken away. From the runway to SATISFASHION, these are pieces that are going down in the books as one of the hottest fixations. Something new to obsess over
PEOPLE is the newest addition to SATISFASHION's interface, it is a section on the right sidebar listing the reccuring and new faces of Toronto's fashionable individual's in the (you guessed it) fashion industry on SATISFASHION. When attending event's, fashion weeks and soiree's there are those who do come up multiple times so why not let them have their own little space! Inspiration for this idea came from Style.com's directory of a lister's and fashion guru's, god's and praisers, that is kind of like what this is. Get ready to see your self on the list soon !!
With the subtle yet intricate inspiration of the Asia's, our favorite, monsieur Karl Lagerfeld has chanelled something special. Geisha's, sari's, India & China all came to mind as some of the world's most topic'd model's strutted their stuff around the Grand Palais Paris in Chanel Haute Couture. There was something about this collection, something that made me feel all gitty and inspired inside, maybe it was the fact that Lagerfeld had a gazillion foot golden tiger pearched on a pearl built in the middle of one of the world's most beautiful structures, or maybe it was the fabrics, prints, shapes & silhouettes that he brought to life through this collection. I could actually see myself rocking one of those jacket's haha.. The structure is so perfect and well fit for a woman, although it is boxy their is such a glamorous essence to it.. Now, if this is your first time (which it probably isn't) sit back, relax, getting a napkin to wipe your drool and indulge in the beauty, inspiration & amazingness that is Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2010.
For those of you who may not know me, I am obsessed with my Jeremy Scott winged sneakers I got in South Beach in December.. Those little winged creatures are one of the most amazing additions to my wardrobe, so you could only imagine my excitement when I finally got to see images of the F/W collection. I've scoped out the scene and already have come across a couple things I have added to my hit-list!!
The queen of the fashion blog screen, Anna Dello Russo always give's us something to drool over. Wether it's bold shoulder's, 3+ outfit changes for a day during fashion week there is always something we love about this woman. Previously "drooled" over in a similar get up as here in a sheer white dress, Anna extrudes the ability to see more then you should in the right way and with the right amount. Oh Anna...
CFDA Nominee, Eddie Borgo, now newly anointed as one of my favorite accessory designers has just put out a campaign for his Fall collection of 2010. Known for his bold shapes and blingy pieces, Eddie has situated himself in our heads, in the press and in magazine's such as Elle, In Style, Vogue and many more as a luxury designer and creator, best part (aside from the collection) this season is his new cover girl, Kate Lanphear.. If you don't know, this blonde haired beauty is and has been a long time style icon of mine for her layering, stacking and stylistic ways so it was only right that she would be his featured lady for this oustanding collection. Ranging from anywhere between $100 - $1000+ any piece from the Eddie Borgo collection will definitely make a statement to any outfit.
This year, Borgo has done the amazing. He has extended his collection to a menswear collection, with a Spring/Summer collection already under his belt this is definitely one to keep in the books. I can't wait to visit his boutique in New York and die over/pick up one or two.. or three.. or a few of these pieces!!
While doing some online browsing...sourcing... and shopping, I stumbled upon an amazing, comical yet mastermind jewelry jewelry line known as Defiles From Paris.. The parisian based jewelry collection "pays tribute to the trends of yesterday and tomorrow, those who wear them and those who create them…Jewelry silhouettes where the city girl cross the hazy blond night owl early morning and the gypsy with temperament !".. Really all I see are fun lollipop like version's of fashion's most frugal individual's designed from some of the finest earth stone..
Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Viktor & Rolf, Alexander McQueen
