The excitement that builds inside everytime i see this.. Not only because its the movie, but its because of the fashion, the life, the New York haha.. I am just a little new yorker stuck in Toronto for a while.. Not to say that i hate toronto.. O god i cant keep going over this haha.. i love NY and i love Sex and the city!! I can not wait to see what twists, turns, plots and parties will be going down in the sequel.. My excitement is overwhelming haha..
i've been growing so fond of Taylor Momsen and her style from gossip girl to the gossip tabloids or whether it be paparazzi to magazine spreads. Her free spirited, chic & amazing style accompanied by her gorgeous blonde locks makes for one very stylish New Yorker & celebrity.
Can we take a minute to indulge in the fact that this is just absurdly insane on so many great levels.. The depth, the structure, the colors, the materials, the tailoring, the construction.. I could go on and on.. But id rather not kill you guys with my blabbaling!! I'll be in contact with the designers soon to do a little interview and get some more photos and information on this collection because i am just shook in my seat!!!..I AM IN LOVE!!!... I can not believe that i am in love with menswear again... This is just a shocker!!!. I cant stop thinking about the fact that i have a favorite menswear collection again!! Im gonna cry!!! This little Lagerfeld in training auctioned off for 1,000 euro's during the world wildlife charity and is definitely making some little rich kid happy haha!! i hope..

What is best to wear for your different holiday parties this year? Family Affair: A pretty dress with an embellished neckline or embroidery, something you can throw a cardigan over, move around and have fun in. Office Party: Simple shift or sheath dress that will take you from a day at the office to the party that night, with a change shoes and accessories. Girls Night Out: A great strapless dress in a bold color like a violet or red is perfect. Add a cropped leather jacket or blazer to give it some edge. What is the must-have accessory to spice up any outfit? I think a statement necklace is the ultimate piece to pair with a dress for the season. It can instantly change an outfit.
What are the key dress trends to look for this holiday season? Bright Bold Colors Sequin and Shine Embellished Necklines
How do you take your daytime outfit from the office to a holiday party? Start with a simple dress shape, like a shift that can act as your blank canvas. During the day keep it simple with flats and delicate jewelry. Slip into fabulously high heels, and throw on a pair of great earrings or a vintage necklace for the office party later that evening.
How do you find the best dress for flattering your body type? You have to find a shape that works for you and stick with it. Try on every shape you can until you find the one you are most comfortable in and shows off your best assets.
What are some ways to up the glamour of your favorite little black dress for the holiday season? Accessories are the best way to glam up a LBD. You can use so many different kinds of colorful jewelry to stand out, play around and have fun with it. Also, a bright bold lip is a great way to spice up an outfit.
What in one must-have holiday piece that can be worn for every party occasion this season? I think the perfect dress for any occasion is a simple shift- you can wear it so many ways (from a day at the office to a party at night) and make it look like a different dress with a change of accessories. It’s my go to dress for every holiday party this season.

There is something about the lighting.. The colors, the essence & the undertone darkness in the photos that gives me a chill.. Kind of like a Kill Bill or Grindhouse / Tarantino flick!
This holiday season, when you've finally accumulated all of that glorious cash and you feel you're ready to "hit-up" the closest Holt Renfrew, Saks, Neiman Marcus, mall, outdoor outlet or whatever it may be, wouldn't it be wonderful to spend it all on that one, hugely expensive item that you've been eyeing for weeks, months or even years in magazines, on net-a-porter.com or luisa via roma or even here on SATISFASHION? Not to say doing a little bit of shopping here and there is bad, everyone loves a new wardrobe without a big price tag, but isn't it nice to indulge in that one big purchase? Like a brand new pair of Christian Louboutin's, a Prada clutch, some Alexander McQueen or one of the canvas bags from the new Burberry collection, there is always that something we all want but can't always get right away. Now, as I noted it being the holidays, it is the chance for those who may not have a great job, have many bills to pay, many prioroties, or just can't afford that something on a regular day to (as I nowadays love to say) indulge. Indulgence is something that just needs to be done to survive in today's hectic world.
Tips When Indulging On That Something Special - Make sure you are getting something that you will always want to wear. Whether it be to show off at a very ritzy event or one that is just for fun and a good laugh. - One should want to indulge in something trendy, yet timeless. I know they don't really go together that well, but you want something that you can rip out of the bag and rock on that runway you call, "life" as soon as that receipt prints out. - If you can, indulge in something for everyday wear. You can detour if you want, but I personally would not find myself indulging in a Herve Leger dress, retailing at about $1000 that would only be relevant for certain times, when I could get an amazing pair of Alexander Wang creeper booties that I could absolutely fall asleep! - Make sure you really, really want it!! Dont just go for something because its the heat of the moment and your in a really expensive store and you asked to see something and you dont want to feel the pressure of having to say.. No thank you!!! I learned the hard way with doing things like that and now i know how to say no!!
Love Love Love Alexander Wang and all of his designs.. Ok so i havent done this in a while but im going to make sure that i still got it! If you guys know SATISFASHION then you know how i used to do the super big write ups lol!!!...So here we go!!!! Let me just start by letting you guys know that my lust for Alexander Wang's designs is unbreakable and the love is untouchable.. When it comes to some of the things that this man does my knees can get weak!!
I love how A.Wang has the abiliaty to take such simple idea's and things that have already been here and somewhat withered away and then bring them back to life with such a abstract detail.. I like to think he has an abstract simplicity about his designs. Why is say this is because in the two looks above he takes simple details and incorporates them in a bizzare way giving the look such a unique twist but still so wearable and flauntable.. I love how in the first look he incorporated a shaul into a double brested jacket and uses the shaul as part of the sleeve.. Its so weird and twisted but it still looks so amazing.. In the second look i find myself convinced that it is an upside down corset!!! And come on, who would of thought of that!! Amazing... Just the simple things taken out of proportion, morphed and placed so well.
I love how he has played with proportions to give it such a exquisite, different and unique look.. A silhouette may be lost in some cases but there are so many differences that make up for it like the fact that you have a big boxy top half and then your legs are skin tight gives it a little bit of a unique flavor.. I always find myself admiring the fit of the pants.. Almost like a skin tight-tight that has the ability to flare at the bottom!! Reminds me of 7 Dollar Jeans @ this store that had a sale a couple weeks ago, but obivously these are goin to be closer to the 370's then just the 7.. haha..
And then.. when A.Wang goes ahed and plays with textures, fits and styles i just fall in love all over again... I love how the dresses look like they were wrapped on right ther and then.. ANd although they may not be the perfect silhouette or detail for ones body they stil have a sheer compound that gives a sexy and teensy weency bit of a scanadalous look!
I love how A.Wang plays with colors and contrsats all of the same shade.. He uses lights or darker hues and saturates what ever is left of the light on some of his pieces.. The grays are beautiful.. Its like a charchol gray that can just blend with pretty much anything very well!!....Overall im pretty sure you guys all know how much i am in love with alexander wang and how i would never have anything bad to say.. This just prooves that my love is still there and is far from leaving!!! haha.. Especially because i want half the stuff ive seen right now and am anticipating what else is in store for the fall collection!!
Christian Louboutin has done it again.. This time in a much more scandalous & tighter way.. Giving our Barbies the opportunity to have more expensive clothes then half of us do now-a-days!! Really? is that fair...Look at her.. Shes rocking the Louboutin X Rodarte ones right there.. LOL!! WELLLLL.... i cant say im not jealous because if i did, i would be out right lying LOLL.. Anyways, once i saw this, i knew that if i tried to resist i would of started twitching and continuing to think of the fact that Barbie is in a cat suit..

The only reason i kept changing my blog is because i felt self conscious and a little less of other blogs and online magazines.. I felt that if i had a nicer layout it would look cooler and more professional and if i told someone about it they wold take it more serious.. But really now.. I went throw gala's, events, fashion week and a bunch of other things with just this simple blog layout and i did just fine.. I am sorry for changing it a bunch of times but i do hope you guys are happy with the new/old change.. I like to think this is better then the small magazine style blog layouts because you get to see a bigger and more detailed photo.. Before it was smaller and i was resizing photos like it was going to go out of style.. But thank god i had a moment tonight and decided just to stick to my gut.. SATISFASHION first and formost a fashion BLOG.. Maybe in the future i will change it to an online magazine, or radio show, television commercial or whatever it may be. But for what it is its a blog and im proud of it.. In love with it.. and hope you guys are to!! Come on.. Its been 4 month and we already have 100 FOLLOWERS!! how amazing is that... I wouldn't of been able to do it with out you guys.. So as ive been saying like a million times this and the past week.. Thank You!!!...
