It was full of shapes and sizes, of women and fur. The vibe was surreal, calm and a well lit center stage of the AGO prooved to be the perfect host for the VAWK collection by Sunny Fong to give us a show even Sunny probably wanted to sit down for!!
I loved the materials used in this collection. The odasity to want to get up and touch a model as she strutted her stuff throughout the rows of the runway struck deeper with every piece revealing itself from the steps of the AGO. Once again I find myself wanting another womens article of clothing. The pants with leather panels on them need to be mine!!
I am obsessed with the look in the center above! It's like horse rider meets edgy modern rebel. I need to find some good old pictures to give you guys a better description but I am pretty sure you know what I mean!
Is it crazy for me to think something is cute? I am usually into dark, mysterious, ferocious and abstract but in this case I felt very comfortable, flirty, fun and CUTE... THe overall package of this show was great! With the venue, I felt as if I were basking in a parisian runway show! I loved the soft colors used in the collection and the rodarte-like take on the shredded sweater! If Breeyn decides to make one in black/grey I will be all over it!
The vibe was cool and the spotlight was on Evan. It was an amazing night and an amazing opportunity to touch, feel, and drool over all of Evan Biddell's amazing pieces of his collections. We are excited to see what he has in store for us this upcoming #LGFW
An AMAZING performance was put on by the very satisfying duo behind the edgy & dark (a favorite) GRETA CONSTANTINE. I found my jaw very loose by the end of the show from it being dropped at the pieces that moved down the runway.. The music, the vibe, the clothing, the EVERYTHING was so amazing! It was dark and illustrious and captivated the attention of every mind in the underground lot of the Audi building in Downtown, Toronto. I found this collection to be very wearable in every day life, the layers, the details and the proportions were all manipulated to the best they could be and looked amazing every step down that catwalk! I loved it!
I died when i saw the mens.. The detailing and simple little gathering around the pockets to add that little flare outwards.. Or what else? The amazing cut/zip-off's, the jackets & vests.. Just the everything!!! AHHHHHH IM GOING NUTSSS THINKING ABOUT IT RIGHT NOWWW!!! haha.. Moments after the music mixed into a different track... It was a favorite... Long Way To Go by Cassie played and then we knew the fun was just beginning!!
The almost alien/robotic look of the leather tights and outfits just made me go crazy... Once again.. The detailing of this collection is nuts!

This very amazing photo over at The Cool Hunter a big LOL plastered amongst the minds of fashion bloggers and "fashion people" alike.. This idea of bags on the heads of the front row bloggers at Fashion Week spotted during the Yvan Rodic show was apparently a spite at Style-Rookie's Tavi for her interesting choice of head-gear during a show a couple fashion weeks ago!
During a recent purchase at Hermes on Bloor the lovely Kai finished packing up my amazing piece & slipping it into the bag, she then proceeded to add a little rectangle box labelled Knotting Cards.. My mother told me about these prior to the acquisition during her time reading Michael Tonello's - BRINGING HOME THE BIRKIN (it's actually pretty handy in finding out little tricks and secrets of Hermes & getting you the Birkin of your dreams). Inside this little orange Box was a gateway to another dimension (lol).. A Dimension full of the craziest idea's i've never even thought of before (for a Hermes scarf.. or scarf in general).. Like one of my favorites.. Turning your Hermes into a Hobo Bag or a adding a strap to your BirkinKELLY bag (thank you to Michael Tonello for thecorrection!!!!!).. There are so many different and cool things displayed you can do with the scarf!!
I thought she would wear something nice.. Just nice... But Sandra Bullock really did it for me this awards show. Immersed in Marchesa and looking super, super sexy and amazing the almost nude chest bedazzled in bling, bling & fancy shiny things... Marchesa designer's Georgina Chapman and Karen Craig always hit the spot!
Miley Cyrus took a break from all the Herve Leger and decided to dip herslef in the amazing works of Jenny Packham. A designer who I have personally got to know on a very intricate level! Her work and design's are so beautiful & Miley pull's it off amazingly!
